Futures
trading in Singapore is a
growth industry that is enjoying wide support from individuals, trading
firms, educational institutions and the local exchange. With its unique
time zone, Singapore futures traders are positioned to take advantage
of market hours and access to the local exchange, Japan, Hong Kong,
Europe and the morning session of the US markets. With the growth being
experienced in China and the close relationship of the two countries,
it is anticipated that futures trading in Singapore will continue to
grow as China slowly opens its markets to foreign access.
The Singapore Stock
exchange encourages foreign
residents who are looking to become locals in the Singapore markets. A
local is an entrepreneur who operates as a business. There are no high
overheads and the member brokers provide cost effective and robust
infrastructure for trading. Provided you meet the capital and
educational requirements, the exchange will support applications for
employment and residency. With a low personal income tax ceiling of
22%, efficient transport, and affordable accommodation, Singapore is a
great destination to live and trade from.
